Growing up I was always a pretty confident kid despite the fact that no matter what country I was living in I was always the only one in my grade or school with a physical disability.

The best part of my job as a fashion consultant is when I get to grab pieces like this amazing BY.D'BY coat straight from the runway and shoot with them.

When I first started the Instagram account that accompanies this site, I was eager to share my point of view and mission with the world. However, like so many bloggers before me, I got so caught up focusing on getting as many followers as I could and not focusing on what made my brand unique

September has always been my favourite month of the year, not only because is it the month of my birthday but it also marks the beginning of fashions biggest season.

Just like the jacket featured in my last post this white snake and star souvenir Jacket (found here) grabbed my attention due to its unique pattern and design.  Coach is a brand that continues to introduce stylish menswear pieces each season they release a collection.

The week before I left Jakarta Coach gave me the great honour of picking and shooting with two of their yet to be released (Now released) stylish new bomber jackets. I wanted to choose pieces that I would be able to create good content with. I chose jackets that not only looked amazing but also presented strong statements that could be interpreted by both the wearer and the viewer.

t has been a little over one week since I arrived in The United States of America and one thing I can say is the culture shock is extremely real. I am no longer surrounded by the hustle and bustle that is Jakarta. Being the son of a diplomat I have become accustomed to moving from country to country every 3-4 years of my life however this time everything feels different and nothing is similar to what I’m used to.

Dear Jakarta, 

You are far more than bustling streets, good food, the worlds worst traffic and opulent shopping malls. You are a city that has shaped me, changed me, and better prepared me for whats to come within the next chapter of my life. 

2017 has so far been a very big year for East & West. Although we are only almost three months into the new year I have already made a few major changes in the way I present myself on both the blog and its respective Instagram account.

After looking carefully through each and every piece of Pattric Boyle Royal Garden collection I decided to select the royal peacock embroidered t-shirt (featured in this article) as my garment of choice due to it’s stunning detail and overall look

Last year during Jakarta Fashion Week I made the decision to purchase this one of a kind bomber jacket from my good friends Sean & Sheila.

Being a fashion blogger, or influencer, or whatever the hell one wants to call it isn't exactly easy, in fact no job is. Some assume that all an influencer / blogger does is take pretty pictures with our fancy cameras or high-end smartphones, post them on an online platform and get paid big time. This assumption may hold true to some, however, for the most part this is simply not the case.

There’s nothing I love more than being able to mix affordable fashionable finds with luxury items or pieces to create the perfect casual / classy outfit.

I originally wasn’t planning to upload this outfit of the day look to the blog as I felt I didn’t have enough good images of myself to make an entire post (shallow yet true). However, considering how much I love this jacket I had a last minute change of heart.

November 3rd, 2016 marked the day that fashion fans the world over entered what I like to call a "Kenzo Kraze". 270 selected H&M stores across the globe and online had the honor of launching the brands' first collaboration collection with French luxury fashion house Kenzo.
