Re:quaL≡ Tokyo Fashion Week Fall - Winter 2021

Re:quaL≡ by Tetsuya Doi presented their Autumn - Winter 2021 at Rakuten’s recent Tokyo Fashion Week. As an upcoming brand Re:qual is becoming known for its avant-garde and fashion-forward designs that are commercial as they are creative.

Since launching in 2016 the brand has managed to achieve great success in a short period of time. According to Rakuten’s official designer profile After applying to the “34th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories in Hyéres” Re:qual was chosen as a finalist in the Fashion division, and awarded the Special Recognition Award. After which, they held their first show in Paris, was chosen as one of the award-winning designers of the “6th TOKYO FASHION AWARD” in October 2019, and presented a triumphant return show at Tokyo last October

For this collection, Tetsuya presented pieces that took viewers into his world with crazy colors and hairstyles that complimented his more commercial pieces such as sweaters and jackets. Some of our favorites include oversized cream and brown sweaters, bomber jackets, and oversized coats.
