Tender Person Autumn-Winter 2022

Earlier in the year, Japanese designers Yuto Yashige and Bianca’s brand Tender Person revealed their highly anticipated Autumn-Winter 2022 Collection at Tokyo Fashion Week. The brand’s concept of “to be free to constantly pursue and express oneself” shows throughout this collection. Yashige and Bianca took inspiration from both Rock’n roll and Otaku culture while continuing to incorporate the brand’s signature iconic graphic logo of fire frames. 

This collection allowed the designers to showcase their new hand-sprayed technique, which they applied beautifully on pieces throughout the collection as well as their collaboration with an adult animation(Manga) movie titled “A KITE” printing the animations on some of the collections shirts, shirts, and trousers. 

Unlike many Autumn-Winter collections that season, Tender Person provided us with pops of bright colors, including reds and blues and psychedelically sprayed tie-dyed patterns. Our favorite pieces from the collection include the oversized red shirt featuring black sleeves and huge black pockets(pictured above), the color-blocked sweater in beige, blue, and brown, an oversized dark peach / pink coat with black details, and a stylish black ensemble featuring incredibly comfortable and chic looking pants.
